RevLog — Vehicle Service Log | Effective April 11, 2026
RevLog stores all data locally on your device using localStorage. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. Your service records, vehicle details, and preferences never leave your phone.
There is no email, no login, and no user ID. We have no way to identify you. You open the app and start using it immediately.
We do not use tracking SDKs, crash reporting services, or analytics libraries. There are zero third-party trackers in this app.
When you use the optional recall lookup feature, your VIN is sent to the US government's NHTSA API (api.nhtsa.gov) to check for open recalls. This is the only network request the app makes, and it only happens when you explicitly tap "Check Recalls." We do not log or store this request.
RevLog uses RevenueCat to process the one-time purchase. RevenueCat handles payment processing through Apple and Google. We receive confirmation of purchase status only. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.
Your data can be exported as JSON (stored on your device only) or as a PDF (printed or saved locally). Neither format leaves your device unless you choose to share it through your phone's share sheet.
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Clear All Data. Uninstalling the app removes all data permanently. There is nothing on our end to delete because we never had it.
RevLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make changes, the updated policy will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of RevLog after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
